As can be seen once the sun is gone there isnt much contrast available in the sky.  Brightening the picture somewhat will just leave the dominant color there and the clouds just blended in.  I guess I could combine two of them but having  the sky light enough to show the clouds with the city dark enough to see it's lights would probably not appear very natural.  I may try it though cause I'm curious.
